Background
I graduated from dental hygiene at CCC-Hastings in 2003 and have worked in private practice since then. I spent 16 years as an adjunct faculty member and recently transitioned to full time clinical practice. I was appointed to the Nebraska Board of Dentistry in 2019 and enjoy the challenge of working with other educators and clinicians in making decisions for our state’s health and safety. I graduated with my BSDH from Wichita State University and a Master of Science from UNMC. I onboarded with Central Regional Dental Testing Services in 2019 as a clinical board examiner and found a new passion for assessment and evaluation.
I reside in Aurora, NE with my husband Jeff and our 5 kiddos ranging in age from 7 to 20. We love outdoor adventures and hiking in Colorado every summer, as well as eating pizza together every Friday.
In my hypothetical spare time, I enjoy reading, fitness and research. Most mornings, I chase sunrises after a cup of piping hot coffee and walk the nearby trails before anyone is awake at my house. I am grateful for an extraordinary life!
