HPTT Goal 6: Instructional Technology

Demonstrate effect integration of current and emerging technology into health professions education to foster active learning and employ innovative teaching strategies for today's learner

For the Instructional Technology goal of tech integration, I chose two artifacts that achieve this goal. The first artifact is from 602 Instructional Design, where I designed a hybrid course for dental hygiene students that helps ignite active learning with both online and in-person learning elements. The second artifact is from Integrating Technology where I designed a flipped classroom module for dental hygiene students preparing their resumes for the workforce. It includes formative assessment that help guide the learner as the module progresses and brings an innovative flair to learning a professional task that can bolster their efforts for landing their first job in the workforce.
